I’ve been attending Mr. Waidell’s class for three months.  Three months since I ended a completely inactive lifestyle.  And it’s because of Mr. Waidell that I will NEVER fall back into my old habits.

From my first class, Kirk kept his eye on me and was there every step of the way with instruction on proper technique, diet tips and positive encouragement.  The class changes constantly, both in warm ups and main exercises, so you feel a great variety of your muscles worked.  Most importantly, I’ve never left his class and thought, that was easy!  Kirk, from his own experiences, knows how to keep the difficulty high enough to get the results you want!

I’ll end with what, in my opinion, makes Kirk the best kind of trainer to have; one that approaches his class and students individually as well as a whole.  He never losses sight on class goals or each students progress.  You can tell this isn’t just a job for Kirk, it’s his lifestyle.  And I’m very grateful to be a part of it.  Thank you for everything, Kirk!

I started Kirk’s body sculpt class 5 months ago, attending  2 days a week. Before I started, I was the heaviest I’d ever been. I had high blood pressure. I suffer from arthritis in my toes, ankles, and knees- and due to the extra weight and lack of muscle, my joints hurt every day. I was the oldest 26-year-old I knew! Now, my life has changed completely, in even this short amount of time. I lost 15 pounds and two sizes. My joints hurt considerably less, and I find myself able to get up from the floor, squat, and kneel without a problem. My blood pressure is normal now. I can walk up stairs and run for a good stretch without getting winded. Kirk changed my life and it means a lot to me that he’s been where I was. He’s not one of those trainers who have been fit for their entire lives and are judgmental and misunderstand your limits. One of the best decisions I ever made was joining Kirk’s class. I’m excited to see what my results will be after another 5 months.

Kirk’s classes are the best! Since taking  his classes I have begun to push myself farther and realize that I am capable of much more than I thought. The workouts are always challenging and are always different, which keeps them interesting and allows me to keep improving and avoid plateaus. I am probably in the best shape I had ever been, and the feeling I get when I notice some new definition is beyond awesome! There is also a sense of community and support that really inspires me to push harder and keep setting and reaching new goals. I have even gained the confidence to try new challenges like obstacle races!

Kirk’s fitness classes have something for everyone, no matter what your level of fitness.  Whether you are a beginner, an expert, or anywhere in between, there is something for you.  The workouts are fun and challenging.  Each workout is different, so you never get bored.  The workouts are a good combination of cardio, strength training and core training.  There are always moderation’s to each exercise, so you never have to worry about not being able to do something.  When you are done, you will feel invigorated and energized.    Kirk is a great motivator.  He is patient, attentive to form, and always encouraging.  His positive comments and encouragement make you want to keep going to get all the great benefits of working out.

Kirk’s fitness classes are awesome. He loves to mix things up so no two classes are exactly the same. The workouts are always fun and never boring. Kirk is a terrific motivator; he always pushes us to do just one more rep, to try a little harder. You’ll hurt like hell the next day but the results are worth it! I lost twenty pounds last year and now I’m keeping it off!

“I have been training with Kirk for almost six months now, and my experience has been awesome! He keeps workouts non-routine and fun.  Just when you think you have mastered an exercise, Kirk will add a twist and a new degree of difficulty to the move to keep challenging you to new levels of fitness.  He is also very knowledgeable about modifying exercises for people with injuries and/or physical limitations.  Kirk makes it a point to observe everyone in class to ensure that the assigned exercise is being done correctly for maximum effects and to minimize injury.”

  In 4 weeks, I’ve dropped 10 lbs and have never felt stronger.    The variety of exercises and activities work muscle groups I never knew I had and make the hour long workouts feel like 15 – 30 minutes.     Kirk is especially helpful in modifying the exercises to increase difficulty as we progress.

  1. I seem to be the oldest of the group and there are days when I think I can’t do it. Kirk is always there to give me that positive push telling me “You can do it!”, or “You’ll be doing this in no time”…He makes it a point to give you encouragement to keep going when you just want to quit. I think I would have given up by now but having a fun team to work out with and the variety of exercises that are challenging, (no question), make it so much fun. I swear I never was able to do half the exercises I do, but I can now. I feel stronger no doubt. I love this power of strength! The positive friendly atmosphere is what keeps me going, an hour sure doesn’t seem like an hour, it’s all about teamwork…and that’s what you’ll find here, a great team. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this great team!
